Pereira returns after collecting consecutive MMA victories, including a decision over Jade Masson-Wong on the undercard of Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. That result moved her MMA record to 3-2 and showed that her development has not been limited to striking-only competition.

Juliana Velasquez brings championship experience from Bellator and PFL
Velasquez enters with a 14-4 MMA record and considerably more experience in major championship fights. She won the Bellator flyweight title from Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and later defended it against Denise Kielholtz. Her career also includes victories over Alejandra Lara and future UFC competitor Liang Na.
