“Puro Osso” built a 22-7 professional MMA record
Nascimento, known throughout his career as “Puro Osso,” meaning “Pure Bone,” earned the nickname because of his extremely lean frame as a teenager. He developed into a skilled submission specialist and one of Brazil’s most respected flyweights, finishing his professional career with 22 victories and seven defeats.
He first appeared in front of the promotion on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018. Although he lost a close split decision that night, Nascimento eventually joined the UFC roster in 2021 and went 4-2 inside the Octagon.
