Kaik Brito closes DWCS Week 2 with a brutal knockout

Kaik Brito returned to Dana White's Contender Series three years after leaving without a UFC contract and made sure there would be no debate about his performance this time. Brito knocked out Namo Fazil 12 seconds into the third round of the main event at Contender Series 2026: Week 2 in Las Vegas.

Brito had previously appeared on DWCS in 2023, losing a decision to Oban Elliott before rebuilding his career and eventually becoming an OKTAGON champion. His second opportunity ended very differently. After two competitive rounds, Brito detonated the finishing punch almost immediately in the third to end Fazil vs. Brito.

Trent Miller turns a guillotine into a Von Flue choke

The co-main event produced the night's most technical finish. Douglas Rodrigues attacked with a guillotine, but Trent Miller stayed composed, moved into position and turned the submission attempt against him. Miller finished Miller vs. Rodrigues with a Von Flue choke at 1:04 of round two.

Alik Lorenz makes an immediate statement

Alik Lorenz did not need a second round. He overwhelmed Mahamed Aly with punches and forced the stoppage at 2:23 of the opener in Lorenz vs. Aly, producing one of Week 2's cleanest contract-audition performances.

Cristian Pérez also found a finish, stopping Logan Paxton with punches at 1:06 of the second round in Pérez vs. Paxton. Roman Puga was the only winner who needed the scorecards, taking a 29-28 unanimous decision over Taner Trembley in Puga vs. Trembley.
