DWCS 2026 Week 4 Results: Adam Darby Leads Five UFC Contract Winners

DWCS 2026 Week 4 Results: Adam Darby Leads Five UFC Contract Winners

DWCS 2026 Week 4 sends five more fighters to the UFC

Season 10 of Dana White's Contender Series continued its remarkably generous start on September 1, with Dana White handing UFC contracts to every winner from Contender Series 2026: Week 4.

Four of the five fights at the Meta APEX ended inside the distance. Adam Darby delivered a sustained beating in the welterweight main event, Modestino Rodrigues produced a 15-second blitz, Silvestre Sanchez found a late knockout after a competitive fight and Gabriel Lorenco finished Charlie Cleveland in the opening round. Adam Livingston was the only winner who needed the judges, edging Hunter Smith by split decision in his second DWCS appearance.

The five contracts bring the Season 10 total to 20 through only four episodes.

Adam Darby overwhelms Patrick Rivera before doctor stoppage

Adam Darby entered the main event as a substantial favorite against Patrick Rivera, and the Irish welterweight justified those odds with three rounds of increasingly one-sided striking.

Darby's length was a problem immediately. He kept Rivera on the end of straight punches, attacked the legs repeatedly and mixed in knees and heavier combinations whenever Rivera tried to force his way inside. Rivera remained willing to trade and occasionally landed something meaningful of his own, but the damage accumulated quickly.

By Round 3 of Rivera vs. Darby, Rivera's face was badly marked and one eye had deteriorated enough to prompt referee Kerry Hatley to call for the cageside doctor. The contest was stopped at 2:42 of the third round.

Darby never needed the highlight-reel knockout that Contender Series fighters often chase. The sustained damage and control were convincing enough, and White awarded him a UFC contract after the main event.

Modestino Rodrigues destroys Brandon Holmes in 15 seconds

The shortest fight of the night barely had time to become a fight at all.

Modestino Rodrigues, a former K-1 competitor, immediately attacked Brandon Holmes with a low kick before charging forward with punches. Holmes never recovered from the opening burst.

The referee stopped Rodrigues vs. Holmes just 15 seconds into Round 1, giving the 22-year-old Brazilian the fastest finish of DWCS Week 4 and one of the easiest contract decisions of the night.

Silvestre Sanchez finds the knockout after a real test from Liam McCracken

Silvestre Sanchez had to earn his contract the harder way against Liam McCracken.

McCracken's speed and jab created problems early, while Sanchez answered with heavier punches, pressure and takedowns. Unlike Rodrigues' sprint, McCracken vs. Sanchez developed into a physical, competitive fight in which both men had stretches of success.

Sanchez gradually imposed himself, and by the third round McCracken had absorbed significant damage. At 2:44, Sanchez landed a clean left hook that abruptly ended the contest before the judges could become involved.

Gabriel Lorenco stops Charlie Cleveland after wild heavyweight exchange

The heavyweight matchup between Gabriel Lorenco and Charlie Cleveland was chaotic from the opening exchanges.

Cleveland initially looked comfortable trading at close range, but Lorenco caught him with a looping shot that sent him down. Cleveland managed to regain his feet before another exchange put him back in danger. Lorenco followed with an elbow and hammerfists until the referee stopped Lorenco vs. Cleveland at 2:02 of Round 1.

The finishing sequence generated some debate online over whether the elbow landed toward the back of Cleveland's head. No foul was called, however, and the official result remains a first-round TKO victory for Lorenco. White still saw enough to offer the Brazilian a UFC deal.

Adam Livingston earns redemption on his second Contender Series appearance

Adam Livingston was the only Week 4 winner without a finish, but his fight with Hunter Smith offered something different from the night's four stoppages.

Livingston used his length, varied striking and occasional spinning attacks, while Smith continually pressed forward and forced exchanges. The pace remained competitive for all three rounds, and there was little consensus before the scorecards were announced.

Two judges gave Livingston vs. Smith to Livingston by 29-28 scores, while the third had Smith ahead 29-28.

The split decision carried extra significance for Livingston. He had previously appeared on Contender Series and left without a contract after losing to Tommy Gantt. His second visit to the APEX ended very differently, with White rewarding the victory with a UFC deal.
