KSW 109 Results: Kuberski Stuns Paczuski with Brutal Head Kick in Warsaw

KSW returned to Warsaw on August 9, 2025, with KSW 109 delivering a night of knockouts, submissions, and close decisions that had fans on their feet from start to finish.

In the main event, reigning middleweight king Piotr Kuberski defended his spot at the top with a highlight-reel finish over hometown favorite Radosław Paczuski. Their clash, Kuberski vs. Paczuski, ended in Round 3 at 1:18 when Kuberski landed a thunderous head kick that closed the show.

The co-main event saw veteran welterweight Michał Michalski grind out a hard-fought unanimous decision over Croatia’s Andi Vrtačić in Michalski vs. Vrtačić. Over three rounds, Michalski’s pressure and cage control proved decisive.

Women’s strawweight action featured Poland’s Ewelina Woźniak claiming a unanimous decision against durable contender Monika Kučinič in Woźniak vs. Kučinič. Woźniak showcased crisp striking and takedown defense to secure the win.

On the submission front, Daniel Skibiński displayed textbook rear-naked choke technique to tap out Oskar Szczepaniak in Skibiński vs. Szczepaniak during Round 2. In a razor-close light heavyweight scrap, Bartosz Szewczyk edged out Dawid Kasperski via split decision in Szewczyk vs. Kasperski.

Josef Štummer kept his composure en route to a clean unanimous decision over Eduard Kexel in Štummer vs. Kexel. Meanwhile, grappling specialist Alain Van de Merckt locked in a slick arm-triangle choke to submit Borys Dzikowski in Van de Merckt vs. Dzikowski.

The prelims also produced fireworks. Rising talent Viktor Červinský forced Michał Gniady to tap via triangle choke in Červinský vs. Gniady, capping off an action-packed undercard.
