UFC star Michael Page isn’t limiting himself to just one weight class following his dominant victory at UFC Saudi Arabia. After securing a win over the previously unbeaten Sharaputdin Magomedov in the co-main event, Page is already eyeing bigger challenges—and possibly even a move to light heavyweight.
The flashy British striker initially made his name in the welterweight division, but after a setback against Ian Garry last summer, he decided to test himself at middleweight. Facing off against the highly touted Magomedov, Page showcased his signature striking, outclassing “Bullet” over three rounds to secure a unanimous decision victory.
Now, Page is considering his next move. While he still has unfinished business at 170 pounds, he’s not ruling out more middleweight fights—or even a jump up to 205 pounds.
“I’m the kind of person who would move up another weight division and fight someone like Jiří Procházka because it’s an exciting fight,” Page said during the post-fight press conference. “Like two tornadoes clashing. I want to make noise in every fight I take.”
Procházka, the former light heavyweight champion, recently re-established himself in title contention with a statement win over ex-champ Jamahal Hill at UFC 311. He has even hinted at a potential move down to middleweight in the future.
Page, however, has no plans to drop down to 185 permanently, stating that his primary focus remains on the welterweight division. “I haven’t got the highlight I wanted just yet,” he admitted. “But if I can keep getting exciting matchups, then why not?”
With his stock continuing to rise, Page’s ability to fight across multiple divisions could open doors for blockbuster matchups. Whether it’s at 170, 185, or even 205 pounds, “MVP” is ready to make his mark.
