Noche UFC 2026 Results: Jean Silva Submits Jose Delgado, Alexa Grasso Beats Manon Fiorot

Noche UFC 2026 ended with Jean Silva barking, celebrating and talking himself further into the featherweight title picture after a fight that very nearly went the other way.

The fourth annual Noche UFC — also listed as UFC Fight Night 288 — took place September 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Silva submitted short-notice replacement Jose Miguel Delgado in the third round of the main event, while Alexa Grasso produced one of her best performances since losing the women's flyweight title and defeated Manon Fiorot by unanimous decision.

Brandon Moreno also stopped a two-fight skid, Tommy McMillen survived a dangerous second round against Marwan Rahiki, Sean King III authored the night's most violent knockout against Jessie Rosas, and Tim Elliott produced one of those wonderfully strange Tim Elliott moments that immediately became a clip.

Jean Silva submits Jose Delgado after surviving a dangerous start

Jean Silva was originally preparing for Yair Rodriguez. When Rodriguez withdrew, Jose Miguel Delgado accepted the biggest opportunity of his career on short notice and got to headline a UFC event in his home state.

For a while, the gamble looked like it might produce a major upset.

Silva spent parts of the opening round stalking, feinting and showboating rather than establishing his offense. Delgado remained composed and made him pay for it, landing a heavy right hand and putting Silva down during the first round.

The performance prompted plenty of online jokes about Silva trying to “aura farm” while the actual fight was getting away from him.

Silva became much more functional in Round 2. He increased the pressure, worked the body and mixed in grappling, including a takedown that helped change the rhythm of the fight.

The finish came midway through the third.

Silva hurt Delgado with a right hand, followed him down and eventually moved to the back as Delgado attempted to recover. He locked up a rear-naked choke with essentially one arm doing the finishing work and forced the tap at 2:57 of Round 3 in Jean Silva vs. Jose Delgado.

It was a particularly Jean Silva way to win: messy enough to create danger for himself, violent enough to erase it, and followed by a celebration that became another part of the story.

The suggestion that a title shot is inevitable is an opinion rather than a confirmed UFC plan, but Silva has unquestionably kept himself relevant near the top of a crowded featherweight division. He has now followed his January victory over Arnold Allen with another significant win.

Then came the barking.

Silva's post-fight antics will probably travel further on social media than some of the technical details of the comeback, but the important result is straightforward: he survived being dropped, made adjustments and finished a dangerous replacement opponent before the championship rounds.

Alexa Grasso beats Manon Fiorot and moves back toward the flyweight title

Alexa Grasso looked nothing like a fighter content to wait for Manon Fiorot to dictate the terms of their three-round fight.

Grasso pushed forward immediately in Alexa Grasso vs. Manon Fiorot, working her boxing combinations and forcing the French contender backward. The biggest moment of the opening round came late, when Grasso dropped Fiorot and firmly banked the frame.

Fiorot settled down in Round 2, landed cleaner kicks and punches and opened a cut near Grasso's right eyebrow. Grasso continued pressing, however, and the third round became another competitive striking battle rather than the kind of controlled distance fight Fiorot generally prefers.

All three judges scored it 29-28 for Grasso.

The result gives the former UFC women's flyweight champion consecutive wins in 2026 after her earlier victory over Maycee Barber and represents another important step toward getting back into a championship fight. Grasso also became only the second woman to defeat Fiorot in the UFC, following Valentina Shevchenko.

Grasso's message afterward was simple: she intends to get the belt back.

Brandon Moreno ends his skid with split decision over Joseph Morales

Former two-time flyweight champion Brandon Moreno badly needed a win after consecutive defeats, and Joseph Morales made him work for every part of it.

Moreno's boxing was sharp early, but Morales had success of his own throughout the fight and landed enough meaningful offense to convince one judge he had won all three rounds.

The third round ultimately became crucial. Moreno defended a takedown attempt, worked his way into top position and controlled extended portions of the closing frame.

The official scorecards for Brandon Moreno vs. Joseph Morales were unusual: 28-29, 30-27 and 30-27, giving Moreno the split decision.

It was not the kind of overwhelming victory that immediately demands another title shot, but after two straight losses, getting back into the win column was the necessary first step.

Tommy McMillen survives Marwan Rahiki in one of the night's toughest fights

Tommy McMillen remained unbeaten, but Marwan Rahiki gave him considerably more trouble than the final “unanimous decision” label suggests.

Rahiki badly hurt McMillen during the second round, landing an uppercut and following with knees as McMillen tried to survive. McMillen then produced his strongest work in the third, scoring a knockdown, attacking submissions and taking over late.

The judges gave Tommy McMillen vs. Marwan Rahiki to McMillen by scores of 29-28, 29-28 and 29-27.

That 29-27 card immediately became a talking point. The implication that McMillen's third round was worthy of a 10-8 drew criticism from viewers who felt Rahiki's damaging second round deserved at least as much weight.

Calling it a robbery remains subjective. The official result is a unanimous decision for McMillen, but the fight was competitive enough that the scoring debate is likely to follow it.

Curtis Blaydes shuts down Waldo Cortes-Acosta

Curtis Blaydes went back to the kind of fight that has made him a heavyweight fixture for years.

Against the dangerous Waldo Cortes-Acosta, Blaydes mixed the threat of his wrestling with enough striking to keep the Dominican from establishing a consistent offensive rhythm. The fight never developed into a heavyweight firefight, but Blaydes repeatedly put himself in the safer positions and did enough to control the rounds.

All three judges scored Curtis Blaydes vs. Waldo Cortes-Acosta 29-28 for Blaydes.

David Martinez beats Dan Ige in Ige's bantamweight debut

Dan Ige made the move down from featherweight to 135 pounds, but David Martinez spoiled his bantamweight debut.

Martinez controlled much of David Martinez vs. Dan Ige with his speed, kicks and cleaner scoring. He even dropped Ige briefly in the third round before settling back into a more measured approach.

The strangest visual from the fight may have been Martinez deciding that ordinary footwork was not enough and throwing in some unnecessary cartwheels.

The scorecards were 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 for Martinez, extending his UFC winning run and adding another established veteran to his résumé.

Tim Elliott hurts Edgar Cháirez and points him back into the fight

Tim Elliott remains almost impossible to have a normal fight with.

Édgar Cháirez hurt Elliott very early in their 130-pound catchweight bout, but Elliott recovered, returned the damage and increasingly imposed his wrestling as the fight continued.

After hurting Cháirez during one exchange, Elliott pointed toward him in a moment that immediately drew comparisons to Nate Diaz's famous mid-fight taunts.

Elliott had to fight through significant damage to his lead leg later in the contest, but continued getting the fight to the floor and won Tim Elliott vs. Édgar Cháirez by unanimous decision, 29-28 on all three scorecards.

Yousri Belgaroui overwhelms Djorden Santos in Round 1

Yousri Belgaroui produced one of the cleanest finishes of Noche UFC.

The former elite kickboxer hurt Djorden Santos, recognized the opening immediately and accelerated with punches until the referee had seen enough. Yousri Belgaroui vs. Djorden Santos ended by TKO at 4:25 of Round 1.

Sean King knocks Jessie Rosas out with a 36-second slam

Jessie Rosas finally made it into the Octagon after his previously scheduled UFC debut fell apart, but the actual debut lasted only 36 seconds.

Sean King III caught Rosas during an early grappling exchange, elevated him and drove him into the canvas with a slam that immediately ended Sean King vs. Jessie Rosas.

King stayed unbeaten and could hardly have produced a more memorable UFC debut. For Rosas, it was a brutal introduction to the promotion after an 8-1 regional run.

Tommy Gantt submits Drakkar Klose with reverse triangle choke

Tommy Gantt supplied the other submission on the preliminary card.

The unbeaten lightweight used his grappling against veteran Drakkar Klose and eventually found an unusual reverse triangle choke in the third round. Klose tapped at 2:46, giving Gantt the submission victory in Tommy Gantt vs. Drakkar Klose.

Ignacio Bahamondes wins welterweight debut, Rongzhu and Regina Tarin take decisions

Ignacio Bahamondes' move to welterweight began successfully. The six-foot-three Chilean went all three rounds with Muslim Salikhov and won Ignacio Bahamondes vs. Muslim Salikhov by unanimous decision, with scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28.

Rongzhu defeated Rafa García 29-28 on all three cards in Rongzhu vs. Rafa García, while Regina Tarin remained unbeaten by taking the same set of 29-28 scores against veteran JJ Aldrich in Regina Tarin vs. JJ Aldrich.
