PFL MENA 4: 2025 Finals – All or Nothing in Dhahran
The Professional Fighters League brought its MENA season to a close with PFL MENA 4: 2025 Finals, a championship night in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia that crowned four new tournament winners. From welterweight down to bantamweight, the PFL MENA format delivered exactly what it promised: high-pressure fights, big regional names, and a handful of statement finishes.
Welterweight final: Alaqraa edges Diani for the belt
In the main event, Kuwait’s Mohammad Alaqraa and Morocco’s Badreddine “Dreamchaser” Diani finally met after last year’s final fell apart. Their rematch of fate, officially listed as Alaqraa vs. Diani, went the full five rounds and turned into a stubborn, tactical welterweight battle. Alaqraa’s composure in the later frames and cleaner combinations down the stretch earned him the judges’ nod via unanimous decision (49–46, 48–47, 48–47), and with it the PFL MENA welterweight tournament crown.
Lightweight, featherweight and bantamweight tournaments end in submissions
The lightweight tournament final saw Salah Eddine Hamli seize his moment against Mohammad Fahmi. In Eddine Hamli vs. Fahmi, Hamli’s pressure and clinch work eventually opened the door for a tight D’arce choke in round two, forcing the tap and confirming him as the 2025 PFL MENA lightweight champion.

Featherweight gold went the way of Islam Reda, who turned what could have been a tricky final with ex-UFC fighter Yanis “The Desert Warrior” Ghemmouri into another showcase for his grappling. In Reda vs. Ghemmouri, Reda patiently worked his way into an anaconda choke late in round two and squeezed until the tap.

The bantamweight final ended faster than anyone expected. In Abzakh vs. Youssef, Nawras Abzakh needed only 36 seconds to snatch a guillotine choke on Islam Youssef, closing out the four-man bracket with the most emphatic statement of the championship bouts.
Big finishes from Basahel, El Sisy and Marhoon
Outside of the tournament finals, the undercard for PFL MENA 4: 2025 Finals still had plenty of violence to offer. Malik Basahel delivered one of the cleanest stoppages of the night against Mahmoud Atef. Listed as Basahel vs. Atef, the bout ended in a first-round TKO after Basahel poured on strikes and forced the referee to step in.
