The PFL will close its 2025 season in style as the PFL World Tournament 9: 2025 Finals heads to Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 16. Fans can expect high-stakes action with three championship fights and a stacked lineup featuring some of the promotion’s most dangerous finishers.
In one of the marquee bouts, Brazilian powerhouse Marcirley Alves takes on the relentless Justin Wetzell in a title fight that promises fireworks. Alves brings fight-ending power, while Wetzell’s pace and pressure could turn this into a grueling war for the belt.
The women’s title picture also gets a major shake-up as elite grappler Jena Bishop faces former champion Liz Carmouche. Bishop’s submission game has been a nightmare for opponents, but Carmouche’s experience and toughness make her a dangerous challenge on fight night.
For the lightweight championship, former Bellator standout Gadzhi Rabadanov meets dynamic striker Alfie Davis. Rabadanov’s wrestling-heavy approach will be tested against Davis’s ability to control distance and land clean shots.
The undercard is loaded with talent, including fan-favorite Mads Burnell versus versatile veteran Robert Watley in a featherweight clash, and rising star Chelsea Hackett taking on aggressive striker Ashley Thiner.
Additional fights see Renat Khavalov battle Vilson Ndregjoni, grappling ace Saray Orozco meet undefeated Sabrinna de Sousa, and a pivotal women’s flyweight showdown between Ekaterina Shakalova and former Bellator champion Juliana Velasquez.
Also on the card, welterweight brawler Isaiah Diggs will try to spoil the night for the explosive Damion Nelson in a fight that could steal the show.
