UFC has locked in a blockbuster event for UFC 320, set for October 4 in Las Vegas. Headlining the night is a light heavyweight title rematch between current champion Magomed Ankalaev and former two-division star Alex Pereira.
The two first met at UFC 313, where Ankalaev pulled off a stunning upset to dethrone Pereira. Since then, Ankalaev has defended his crown with decisive wins over Johnny Walker and Aleksandar Rakic, solidifying his status as the division’s top dog.
Pereira had built an impressive reign before the setback. He first captured the belt by finishing Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295, then defended the title three times in 2024 with brutal stoppages of Jamahal Hill, Prochazka (rematch), and Khalil Rountree Jr.
The co-main event features bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili defending his belt against elite contender Cory Sandhagen. Dvalishvili has already turned back Umar Nurmagomedov and Sean O’Malley, while Sandhagen is coming in hot off wins over Deiveson Figueiredo and former champ Petr Yan.
Also on the main card, former light heavyweight king Jiri Prochazka returns to face Khalil Rountree Jr in a critical clash. Both fighters are looking to climb back into title contention after impressive victories over Jamahal Hill.
With championship gold, redemption arcs, and divisional shakeups all in play, UFC 320 is shaping up as a must-watch night in Las Vegas for fight fans around the globe.
