UFC Fight Night Las Vegas: Tatsuro Taira Submits Hyun Sung Park in Main Event Thriller

The UFC was back at the Apex in Las Vegas, and UFC Fight Night: Taira vs. Park turned into one of those cards that had a bit of everything — slick subs, heavy knockouts, and a handful of gritty decisions that kept fans tuned in start to finish.

In the main event, rising flyweight phenom Tatsuro Taira stayed unbeaten, choking out Hyun Sung Park in Round 2. Both fighters came out fast, but once Taira found his entry, he wrapped up a tight choke at 1:06 and forced the tap — another statement win for one of the division’s brightest prospects.

Lightweight grinder Chris Duncan went the distance with Mateusz Rębecki in the co-main, earning a tough decision after three scrappy rounds. Elsewhere on the main card, Esteban Ribovics boxed up Elves Brener behind sharp combinations for a clear nod, and Karol Rosa kept Nora Cornolle at range to secure her own unanimous decision.

Veteran Neil Magny showed he’s still got gas left, stopping Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos late in the second. Kevin Vallejos also added another win, outpointing Danny Silva in a measured performance.

The prelims brought plenty of chaos. Rinya Nakamura blasted through Nathan Fletcher for a Round 1 TKO, while Rodolfo Vieira leaned on his grappling to edge Tresean Gore. Andrey Pulyaev shocked Nick Klein with a second-round TKO, and Austin Bashi kept his hype rolling by tapping John Yannis with a slick submission. Piera Rodriguez squeaked past Ketlen Souza by split decision, and Rafael Estevam closed the night by outworking Felipe Bunes.
