Saori Oshima
Saori Oshima is an exceptional athlete with a rich background in martial arts, particularly in Judo. She embarked on her Judo journey at the tender age of 3 and dedicated herself to the discipline until the age of 23, honing her skills and achieving remarkable feats. At the age of 24, Oshima ventured into the world of mixed martial arts, embracing a new chapter in her athletic career.
Oshima's prowess extends beyond Judo, as she has made a name for herself in various MMA promotions. In Shooto, she clinched the 18th and 26th Shooto Kantō Amateur Atomweight Championship titles, showcasing her exceptional abilities in the ring. Furthermore, Oshima has left an indelible mark in DEEP, where she currently holds the Microweight Championship and has successfully defended the title. She has also achieved tremendous success in Jewels, securing the Atomweight Championship and effectively defending it.
Outside of MMA, Oshima has showcased her skills on the international stage, earning third place in the 2009 World Cadets Championship organized by the International Judo Federation. In addition, she has made her mark in the All Japan Judo Federation, emerging as the runner-up in the 2011 All Japan Selected Junior Judo Championship and securing the championship title in the 2014 edition.
