Top 10 OKTAGON MMA Finishes of 2026: Best KOs & Submissions
The first eight months of 2026 have already produced a ridiculous collection of finishes in OKTAGON MMA. Championship knockouts, sudden submissions and violent momentum swings have arrived across Germany, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, making this top 10 compilation a snapshot of some of the promotion’s best MMA highlights of the year so far.
From Makhmud Muradov taking the light heavyweight crown from Will Fleury to Lucia Szabová making history, these are 10 OKTAGON finishes worth watching again.
Muradov knocks out Fleury at OKTAGON 92
The countdown opens with one of the biggest results of the entire OKTAGON MMA season. At OKTAGON 92, Makhmud Muradov moved up to light heavyweight and stopped reigning champion Will Fleury in the second round.
Fleury had controlled long stretches of the opener before Muradov badly hurt him late. “Mach” carried that momentum straight into round two, dropped the Irish champion again and finished the job to claim another OKTAGON title. It was a championship-changing knockout and an obvious contender for the promotion’s best finish of 2026.
Roušal and Szabová steal the show at OKTAGON 87
OKTAGON 87 in Liberec supplied two entries to the list. Radek Roušal produced a huge knockout against dangerous Swedish striker Samuel Bark, adding another stoppage to a run that has turned Roušal into one of OKTAGON’s most entertaining fighters.
Later that night, undefeated Lucia Szabová stopped Leidiane Fernandes and became the first woman in OKTAGON history to hold championships in two divisions. The significance of the moment makes Szabová’s finish more than another highlight-reel stoppage.
The same Liberec card also produced the wild Tomáš Mudroch vs. Josef Hála finish featured in this compilation, giving OKTAGON 87 three places inside the top 10.
OKTAGON 89 delivers three more brutal finishes
The promotion’s 10th-anniversary celebration continued at OKTAGON 89 in Bratislava, and the Tipos Arena card supplied another three entries.
Radovan Úškrt and Ondřej Raška brought the kind of Czech-Slovak matchup that rarely needs much selling, with Úškrt’s finishing power eventually producing another memorable moment.
Veronika Smolková also added to her growing highlight reel against Lisa Kyriacou, while hard-hitting Marek Bartl and submission specialist Jozef Wittner gave the compilation another explosive ending from the Bratislava card.
Kincl, Ryšavý and Stanovský complete the top 10
Former middleweight champion Patrik Kincl returned at OKTAGON 91 against dangerous contender Hojat Khajevand. After controlling the early exchanges, Kincl took the fight to the ground in round two and forced Khajevand to submit, reminding the division that his game extends far beyond his technical striking.
One of the earliest entries on the 2026 list came at OKTAGON 82. Deniz Ilbay attempted to take Karol Ryšavý down, only for the Slovak veteran to immediately capitalize on the position and lock up a first-round guillotine. It was the type of submission that appears almost out of nowhere and ends a fight before the opponent has time to correct the mistake.
At OKTAGON 86 in Szczecin, Jan Stanovský completed the list with his second-round TKO of experienced Polish striker Łukasz Rajewski. Rajewski had enjoyed success early, but Stanovský turned the fight around and found the finish before the end of round two.
And 2026 is far from finished
The important part of “top 10 finishes of 2026” is the phrase so far. OKTAGON still has months of fights left on the calendar, beginning with OKTAGON 93 in Brno on September 12.
Roušal returns for the biggest test of his career against former champion Jonas Mågård in Roušal vs. Mågård. The card also brings dangerous finisher Robert Lau, veteran grappler Vojto Barborík and unbeaten finisher Murat Tüysüz, while Alana Cook vs. Niamh Kinehan adds another intriguing women’s MMA matchup.
That means this top 10 may look very different by December.
